About Kate Vincent
Hello, I'm Kate. For over a decade, my professional life was dedicated to teaching and examining Business Studies, a career that taught me the power of strategy and continuous learning. But my real passion lay in a different kind of growth: the one found in movement, both physical and mental.

My journey to founding Kate Vincent Movement began with a personal commitment to self-improvement. After years in education, I embarked on a new path, challenging myself to return to university. This led me to achieve a First Class Honours in Psychology in 2025, an accomplishment that ignited a passion for the mental side of health and performance.
A Foundation Built on Community
While studying, I channelled this new energy into making a tangible impact on my community. In 2024, I founded Daventry Wellness & Sports CIC to promote badminton and social activities, a venture that successfully secured grants from BIPC, Daventry Town Council, and Well Northants. The community's response was overwhelming, and it led me to an exciting new project: pickleball.

The success of these activities inspired me to launch West Northamptonshire Pickleball CIC. Through this, I've had the immense privilege of introducing this fantastic sport to hundreds of people and securing significant funding, including a substantial grant from Sport England to develop the Powerplay Pickleball programme. These efforts were recognised with a Rose of Northamptonshire Award, a testament to the community's support and a highlight of my work.

Qualifications

My unique background as a business teacher and examiner for many years has equipped me with the skills to design structured, effective programmes. I understand how to break down complex goals into manageable steps, making the journey to better health achievable for everyone.

My path has not been linear, but every experience has shaped my mission: to create a supportive space where people can build strength, improve their health, and fall in love with movement. I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, not just in your body, but in your mind.
My Unique Approach
I understand the struggles that come with fitness. In a world of gyms and traditional personal trainers, it’s easy to feel like another number—faced with aggressive promises of rapid weight loss and quick fixes. My approach is fundamentally different because I believe true, lasting change begins with understanding the "why," not just the "how."

My background is rooted in exercise and sport psychology, not just gym certifications. I'm a specialist who is here to support you, your mind, and your habits. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all, transactional programme. Instead, I focus on empowering you to make positive, sustainable changes that fit your unique life.

Some of my most impactful sessions happen in a comfortable chair, not on a machine. I will work with you to address your mindset, overcome personal barriers, and identify your true motivations. My mission is to support your journey to a healthier you, wherever you are, and to help you find joy and confidence in movement.

This Is For You
This journey is for you if you've ever:
-
Spent years watching the weight slowly climb on, feeling helpless.
 -
Tried every diet in the book, only to feel like you've failed and put the weight all back on again.
 -
Felt left out of sports or exercise because you never really felt "into it."
 -
Been fed up with the struggle and hoped for a different way to live.

You are not alone in this. My mission is to provide a positive, empowering space where you can finally make peace with your body and your relationship with movement. It’s about more than just a workout; it's about building a better you.
